CHAIRMAN NAB SEEKS report ON ALLEGED CORRUPTION IN AIOU

ISLAMABAD: Chairman, national duty Bureau (NAB), Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Thursday took intense look at of alleged corruption of Rs. 2.5 billion in Allama Iqbal Open college (AIOU), Islamabad.

As said within the media, former Vice Chancellor (VC) of AIOU Islamabad, Nazeer Ahmad, former Registrar Muhammad Bashir, Head of Physics department, Dr. Zafar Ilyas and Dr. A. Naeem of Social Sciences branch were found involved in alleged corruption.

The accused people made cash from improvement work, shipping, recruitment and by using manner of promoting recycle papers.

Being attentive to alleged corruption, Chairman NAB has directed Director favored, NAB (Rawalpindi) to analyze rely and submit record within seven days.
